Distribution and habitat
Occurs in eastern Tanzania, coastal Kenya, Malawi and
northern Mozambique; it is a rare vagrant further south in Mozambique. It generally prefers moist lowland forest with a dense and
tangled understorey.
Food
Mainly eats small fruit, seeds and insects, hawking prey
aerially or gleaning from vegetation.
