Pyrostremma agassizi (Strawberry jam fire salp)

A fairly common species found in all oceans from 40ºN to 45ºS.

Pyrostremma spinosum (Giant fire salp)

Occurs in all oceans from 40°N to 45°S (Van Soest 1981).
