Barber, Frederick William (1813-1892)

Husband of Mary Barber. According to Alan Cohen (pers. comm.), who has written a biography of Mary Barber, "his wife's interests were catching and he did take an interest in butterflies etc.".

Specimens of F.W. Barber from Johannesburg were donated to the South African Museum in 1894, after his death.
