occur in southern Africa. There is also an introduced, naturalised species
in southern Africa. Parasitic plants that form a network of entwining,
yellow tendrils over shrubs and trees.
Members of the genus Cuscuta (Convolvulaceae) have
a similar parasitic habit and appearance.
