Mimorista

Mimorista pulchellalis was introduced to South Africa for the biological control of Opuntia aurantiaca (Jointed cactus). It became established for a few years but not in large numbers and its larvae inflict relatively minor damage on Jointed cactus plants. It is now regarded as not having become established.
