An African genus of ten species, with three species native to southern Africa.

Aulacobothrus

Seventeen species, with a distribution including Africa, India, southern China, and Myanmar. One species, Aulacobothrus dorsatus, is native to southern Africa.

Berengueria

An African genus of three species, with one, Berengueria rotundifrons, native to southern Africa.

 

Brachycrotaphus

Sixteen species with a distribution that includes Africa, Madagascar, southern Europe and Indian subcontinent. One species, Brachycrotaphus tryxalicerus, is native to southern Africa.

Brainia

Two species, Brainia hirsuta and Brainia holmi, endemic to southern Africa.

Crucinotacris

Three species, occurring in Africa and India. One of them, Crucinotacris cruciata, is native to southern Africa.

Diablepia

One species, Diablepia viridis, endemic to southern Africa.

Dnopherula

Twenty-four species, occurring in Africa and Asia. Two species, Dnopherula crassipes and Dnopherula pictipes, are native to southern Africa.

Faureia

An African genus of three species, one of which, Faureia milanjica, is native to southern Africa.

Karruhippus

One species, Karruhippus albicornis, endemic to southern Africa.

Leva

Twenty species, distributed through Africa, Middle East, Indian subcontinent, and Mynamar.  One species, Leva callosa, is native to southern Africa.

Lounsburyna

Two species, Lounsburyna capensis and Lounsburyna fumosa, endemic to southern Africa.

Mesopsis
