Distribution and habitat

Occurs on sandy flats and at the foot of mountains in the Tulbagh, Paarl and Worcester districts of the Western Cape, South Africa (de Vos, 1999a).

Phenology

Flowers from October to November (de Vos, 1999a).

Conservation status

Endangered (Goldblatt et al., 2007) due mainly to destruction of habitat by expanding vineyards.
