Distribution and habitat

Grows on the northwestern extreme of the granitic Otjihipa Mountains, on the eastern margin of the Marienfluss, in the Kaokoveld of northwestern Namibia.

Flowering time

March to May.

Ecological interactions

Dusky sunbirds Cinnyris fuscus visit the flowers and are probably the main pollinators.
