Erythrocercus (Livingstone's flycatcher genus)

There are three species, found in Subsaharan Africa, with 1 species, the Livingstone's flycatcher Erythrocercus livingstonei occurring in southern Africa.   

Stenostira (Fairy flycatcher) 

One species: the Fairy flycatcher Stenostira scita.

Elminia (elminias) 

Five species, all found in Subsaharan Africa, of which one, the White-tailed elminia Elminia albonotata (also called the White-tailed crested flycatcher), occurs in southern Africa. 

Achaetops (Rockrunner) 

One species: the Rockrunner Achaetops pycnopygius, once called the Damara rockjumper.

Sphenoeacus (Cape grassbird) 

One species: the Cape grassbird Sphenoeacus afer.

Melocichla (Moustached grass-warbler)

One species: the Moustached grass-warbler Melocichla mentalis.

Cryptillas (Victorin's warbler) 

One species: Victorin's warbler Cryptillas victorini.

Sylvietta (crombecs) 

There are nine species, all found in Subsaharan Africa, of which three occur in southern Africa. 

Eremomela (eremomelas) 

The 11 species are distributed in Subsaharan Africa, with four Species indigenous to southern Africa. 

Schoenicola

Two species, distributed through Asia and Africa, of which one, Broad-tailed warbler Schoenicola brevirostris, occurs in southern Africa.

Locustella (locustella warblers)

All eight species breed in the Palaearctic and migrate into Africa and southern Asia. Only one of the species, the River warbler  Locustella fluviatilis, migrates into southern Africa. 

Bradypterus (bradypterus warblers) 

The 18 species are distributed through Africa and Asia, with four of them occurring in southern Africa. 

Acrocephalus (reed-warblers) 

The 36 species are distributed through Eurasia and Africa, with eight species occurring in southern Africa. 

Hippolais (hippolais warblers) 

There are six species distributed through Eurasia and Africa, with two occurring in southern Africa. 

Chloropeta (yellow warblers) 

The three species are found in Subsaharan Africa, with one of them, the Dark-capped yellow warbler Chloropeta natalensis, occurring in southern Africa.

Phylloscopus (phylloscopus warblers) 

There are 38 species, distributed through Eurasia and Africa, with two of them occurring in southern Africa.

Hyliota (hyliotas) 

There are four species, all distributed in Subsaharan Africa, with two species found in southern Africa.  

Turdoides (babblers)

There are 29 species, distributed through Africa and Asia, with five species occurring in southern Africa.  

Lioptilus (Bush blackcap) 

One species: the Bush blackcap Lioptilus nigricapillus. 

Parisoma (tit-babblers) 

The five species are distributed through Africa and into the southwestern part of the Arabian Peninsula, with two species occurring in southern Africa. 

Sylvia (sylvia warblers) 

The 25 species are distributed through Eurasia and Africa, with three migrant species coming into southern Africa.
